HIROKO SAKURAI

Hiroko Sakurai, is a legendary actress iconic for her roles as Yuriko Edogawa in Ultra Q (1966) and Akiko Fuji in Ultraman (1966).

A key figure at Tsuburaya Productions, she also served as a producer and coordinator for the Ultraman franchise. Sakurai authored A Chronicle of Ultraman’s Youth (1994), Hiroko: The Birth Story of the Ultra Goddess (2011), and co-wrote Heroine's Memories (2024), sharing behind-the-scenes Ultraman stories. Since 2021, she hosts the ROCO TALK podcast, featuring Ultraman cast and crew.
