MEGUMI KOBAYASHI
She has been active as a model and actress since childhood, appearing in numerous films and dramas. Her most notable work is the special effects monster movie "Mothra" (1996-1998), in which she played the lead role for three years. After her appearance in "Gamera: The Brave" (2006), she shifted her focus to singing.
She rebranded herself as meg and made a comeback in jazz in 2006. While performing live, she released many albums, and her Ron Carter-produced album "Little Waltz" garnered significant attention. Since 2020, she has also focused on digital distribution and is currently active in both jazz and pop music.
In 2023, she made a brief return to acting in the tokusatsu film "HOSHI 35 / Hoshikuzu." It has also been decided that she will appear in the tokusatsu dinosaur film "Fukuiraptor," scheduled for release in 2026, and will also be performing the theme song.
