KOHJI MORITSUGU

Born on March 15, 1943, in Hokkaido.

Kohji Moritsugu is best known for his iconic portrayal of Dan Moroboshi, the protagonist of Ultraseven, which first aired in 1967. He has continued to reprise the role in numerous Ultra Series works to this day, making him an enduring presence in the history of the series.

Beyond the Ultra Series, he has built a distinguished acting career across a wide range of works, from Jidaigeki (Japanese historical dramas) to contemporary dramas. He also runs the restaurant Joli Chapeau.
